I designed a stool with the idea of making use of the beautiful three-dimensional curved surface that is created when cloth is stretched.I searched for a shape that can only be expressed with cloth and the lightness of cloth, and arrived at this shape. Also, just like how people change their facial expressions when they wear clothes, I think that by putting on and taking off the cloth, I was able to create a new piece of furniture that changes its atmosphere according to the situation.

布を張った時に生まれる三次曲面の美しい形をデザインに活かせないかと考えスツールをデザインしました。

布でしか表現出来ない形状や、布の持つ軽やかさを模索し、この形状にたどりつきました。また、人が服を着て表情が変わる様に、布を着脱する事で状況に合わせて雰囲気の変わる家具が出来たのではないかと思います。
